Healthy Feet Store Return & Exchange Policy

At HealthyFeetStore.com, your comfort is our priority. If your shoes aren’t a perfect fit, we make returns and exchanges simple and stress-free — no phone calls, no emails, no hassle.

You have 30 days from the date of delivery to return or exchange eligible items.


Free Return Shipping with Checkout+ Option

At checkout, you can choose our Checkout+ Free Returns program for a small, upfront fee. If you selected this option, your return shipping is completely free — no deductions, no surprises.

When you start your return through our self-service portal, our system will automatically recognize your Checkout+ purchase and generate a prepaid shipping label at no cost to you. Simply print your label, pack your items securely, and drop your package off with the indicated carrier.

This gives you total peace of mind to try your items risk-free, knowing you can return or exchange them at no cost.


Return Conditions

  • Items must be in new, unworn condition (please try shoes on carpet to prevent scuffing).
  • Items must be returned in the original shoe box, which should be placed inside a protective outer shipping box.
  • Shoe boxes that are damaged or taped over will incur an $8 re-boxing fee.
  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

How To Use Our Self-Service Return Portal

All returns and exchanges are processed through our self-service portal. Simply click below to begin:

Just enter your order number (found in the order confirmation email you received from Healthy Feet Store when you first ordered the item and/or sometimes listed at Customer PO# on your shipping slip) and your zip code, select the items you want to return, and follow the prompts. You’ll be guided through how you want to receive the refund (e.g., back to your credit card or as store credit), any exchanges you want to make, shipping label creation, packing instructions, and tracking your return from start to finish.

If you selected Checkout+ at checkout, your free prepaid return label will be automatically provided during this process.


Photo Verification — Required for All Returns and Exchanges

To streamline returns, prevent fraud, and make sure you're not stuck shipping shoes back only to have them rejected at our warehouse, we now require photo verification at the start of every return and exchange.

What you need to upload

When you start your return or exchange in the self-service portal, you'll be prompted to upload two photos of the shoes you're sending back:

  • A photo of the soles
  • A photo of the top/upper portion

Photos must be of the actual shoes you received. Marketing images, stock photos, or images pulled from product pages will be rejected. If your photos are rejected, you can resubmit — but they need to be photos of the actual shoes in your possession.

What happens next

Our team has 72 business hours to review your photos. If the shoes appear to be in new, unworn condition, we approve the return and send you a prepaid shipping label (or, if you opted into Checkout+ at purchase, the label is automatically free).

Once your label is issued, you have 14 days to ship the shoes back. Labels not used within 14 days expire and the return is closed.

How your refund or exchange is processed

The path depends on what you've selected:

Store credit

As soon as the carrier scans your package as in transit, we issue your store credit. You don't have to wait for the shoes to arrive at our warehouse.

Refund to original payment method

We wait for the shoes to arrive at our warehouse. Within 5 business days of arrival, our team inspects the shoes and confirms they match the photos you submitted. If everything checks out, your refund is issued to your original payment method.

Instant Exchange

Choose your replacement shoes and we ship them right away. A hold is placed on your credit card for the value of the original shoes as collateral. At the same time, we have 72 business hours to send you a return shipping label for the original pair. You have 14 days to ship them back. When the original shoes arrive and are inspected (within 5 business days), the hold is released. If the original shoes never arrive within the 14-day window, or if they fail inspection, the hold is captured and your card is charged. If the replacement shoes cost more than the original, the price difference is charged at the end of the exchange workflow.

Regular Exchange

Your replacement order is placed only after (1) your photos are approved within 72 business hours, (2) we send you the return shipping label, and (3) the carrier scans your original shoes as in transit. Once the return is moving, we process and ship your replacement. If the replacement shoes cost more than the original, the price difference is charged at the end of the exchange workflow.

If the shoes don't match the photos

If the shoes that arrive at our warehouse show more wear than the photos showed, or otherwise don't match what was submitted, the refund is denied — including partial refunds. We'll hold the shoes and contact you to decide whether you'd like them shipped back to you or disposed of. We will not issue any refund in these cases.


Return & Exchange Options

We offer three convenient outcomes depending on your preference:

1. Refund to Original Payment Method (ie, you don't want to exchange your item for another one and you just want your money back)

  • If you chose Checkout+ when you purchased your item(s): Start your return through our self-service portal, accessed via the green buttons on this page. Follow the prompts and your prepaid return shipping label will be provided automatically at no cost. Print your label, pack your items, and drop them off with the carrier shown. Once your return is received and approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method.
  • If you did not choose Checkout+: You should still use the return portal, accessed via the green buttons on this page. You can either ship your items back using your own carrier or use our prepaid return label service. If you use our label, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. We strongly recommend using our label, as we receive discounted shipping rates that are often 50% cheaper than the retail rates you would get at a USPS or FedEx store.
  • Refunds are processed after your items are received and approved by our warehouse.

2. Exchange for a Different Size or Style (Free Shipping)

  • Exchanges are always free — we cover shipping both ways. You have 30 days from delivery to initiate an exchange.
  • Regardless if you chose Checkout+ at time of purchase or not, exchanges at Healthy Feet Store always have free shipping both ways. When you start your exchange, accessed via the return/exchange portal after clicking on the green buttons on this page, you'll follow a series of prompts to choose your exchange item and then print a free prepaid return label. Once your return has been delivered to our warehouse and inspected for damage, your replacement item will ship right away at no additional cost.
  • Instant Exchange Option: To make sure your new size or style doesn’t sell out, you can authorize an instant exchange. You'll see this option in the return portal, accessed after clicking the green buttons on this page. Your card will only be charged if your original item isn’t mailed back within 28 days.

Processing Time

Please allow up to 5 business days after your package is received at our warehouse for your refund, store credit, or exchange to be processed. Refunds will appear on your original payment method once approved.
