While we’re a U.S.-based company, not all of the shoes in our inventory follow U.S. sizing. Some of the brands in our inventory, like Naot and Spring Step, use the European sizing convention, and you may even find a few shoes that use the UK sizes. UK sizes are similar to the U.S. sizes for men and women, but they run slightly smaller.

The European sizing convention gets its name from the fact that the sizes originated in Europe. Today, however, the convention is used in many countries including Israel, New Zealand, and even China. If you buy shoes originating from these or other countries, you’ll need to know your conversion.
