Today there are many different styles of support socks and compression socks available for men and women to prevent or treat venous disorders and minimize aching legs. Medical statistics show that by 50 years of age, 50% of men and 67% of women will be afflicted with some type of venous disorder.
Keep in mind that measurements are important. If your personal measurements do not fall within the sizing range, it is not recommended to wear other sizes. If compression socks are too loose, they cannot offer their advertised benefits. If compression socks are too tight - each time the stocking rolls in - it increases the compression and may effectively constrict the veins you're trying to aid.
