Limb Length Discrepancy | Shoes For Leg Length Discrepancy
Limb Length Discrepancy (also known as LLD) is a common condition where one leg is longer than the other. About 85% of people in the world have LLD. This condition is only a problem when it leads to pain, discomfort, injury or incorrect gait patterns. Oftentimes there is only a subtle difference of length. In order to tell if you have LLD, we suggest you stand straight, look in a mirror and see if your shoulders line up. Also take note of your hip bones and see if they line up. Not only can untreated LLD lead to possible pain or injury in the future, but it can cause pronation or an unbalanced distribution of pressure on the feet.
